Community Development Services

Community Development Services connects McMurray Métis Citizens with the supports, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.

The department links Citizens to education, bursaries and scholarships, mental health and addictions supports, housing, food security, and business development, while also creating opportunities for Citizens to connect with their Métis culture.

Community Development Services also supports Stakeholder Relations by addressing community concerns related to Métis rights, assisting with consultation processes, and contributing to government relations work, including consultation matters connected to the transition within the Otempisiwak Métis government.

Guided by Métis values, advocacy, and community connection, the department plays a key role in advancing the well-being, rights, and future of McMurray Métis Citizens.
