Volunteering with the McMurray Metis Local 1953 can be an incredibly rewarding experience! Our volunteers feel incredibly fulfilled as leaders in our community. As a volunteer, you will provide direct support to initiatives and functions withing our local and this provides opportunities to meet new people and possibly make new friends. McMurray Métis seeks volunteers for events including:
- Metis Fest
- Infinity Golf Tournament
- Louis Riel Day
- Elders Christmas
We ask volunteers to have:
- Time to commit to volunteer training and orientation as needed
- A passion for sharing our culture, traditions and history
